About this tour

Mto wa Mbu is the most popular small town adjacent to both Lake Manyara National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCAA) along the main road that connects Tanzania’s Northern Circuit sites and thus presents a plethora of different tourist’s activities. The journey takes about 2-hour drive from Arusha town.

Pick one of the following excursions for your day trip from the many available activities in Mto wa Mbu:

Cultural tours that include a visit to Maasai homestead as well as learning about the woodcarving techniques of the Makonde tribe.
